Processing Times

USCIS Processing Times

At each of the links below are the most recent processing times reported by the USCIS for each Service Center. These reports are issued approximately twice each month. The dates in the right hand column, under “Processing Timeframe,” show the receipt date of cases currently on a USCIS officer’s desk. Please note that the published timelines and actual processing times may vary considerably. If you have specific questions regarding your case, please contact your lawyer.

If your case was filed after the date shown, then your case is probably not yet with a USCIS officer. Once a case arrives at an officer’s desk, it generally takes an additional two to four weeks to receive a decision. If your case was filed at least 30 days before the date shown, an inquiry can be made with the National Customer Service Center.
